AquaShield™ is pleased to announce the recent addition of Marty and Karen Stallings as
sales representatives. After retiring as airline pilots with over 40 years of combined experience for an international commercial passenger carrier, the Stallings founded their own stormwater products business,
The Hydros Group. At first glance, you might not think that the technologies used in the aviation and stormwater industries have much in common, other than providing treatment to runoff from runways and roofs. But in fact, they both employ aspects of fluid dynamics. Many of the solutions used to solve fluid dynamics problems also apply to aviation science. Through their aviation and engineering backgrounds, a professional technical sales team has been assembled capable of solving complex problems encountered by the stormwater community.
The Stallings were introduced to the innovative
AquaShield™ line of stormwater treatment systems by another successful AquaShield™ sales representative,
Joe O’Brien. Joe was convinced that the addition of AquaShield™ product lines to their existing products line would take their business to a higher level. After carefully evaluating the wide variety of stormwater treatment technologies in use, they indeed selected the AquaShield™ brand of products to represent. As an added benefit to this relationship, the AquaShield™ treatment systems compliment several other stormwater industry products represented by The Hydros Group.
The Hydros Group maintains sales offices in New Mexico, Southern California and Texas. As president of the company, Karen directs corporate operations, addresses regulatory issues, and provides customer and technical support. Marty, vice president of Design and Engineering, assists customers with the system design and selection process, provides quotations and technical support, attends pre-construction meetings as needed and of course, constantly provides customer support. The Stallings know all to well of the need to stay up to date with the wide variety of issues and evolving technologies that arise within the industry. By understanding a dynamic marketplace, a dedication to customer satisfaction is affirmed. Their abilities to quickly grasp a thorough understanding of complex projects in order to provide effective solutions is of considerable value to their customers and stormwater regulators alike. For example, Marty designed a unique water quality flow device for use at a livestock ranch in Colorado where there were regulatory discharge concerns. The treatment system impressed the U.S. Department of Agriculture so much that they requested Marty to install a similar device at several nearby ranches having similar water quality concerns and conditions.
