CAD Technician
Position Description
AquaShield, Inc. Stormwater Treatment Solutions
Summary
Prepares accurate CAD drawings of dimensional standard, customized shop and fabrication drawings for production. Collaborates and supports with R&D by drawing new product applications. Works with civil design engineers, architects, and contractors to review site specific application of company’s products supporting global sales force. Reports to AquaShield Engineering Manager.
Basic Qualifications

Associates degree in Computer Aided Drafting or closely related technical field
- 4-6 years experience using AutoCAD 2004 or higher

Ability to read and interpret site plans, blueprints, and drawings for water treatment
- Ability to perform a variety of tasks
- Possess a wide degree of creativity and latitude

Ability to implement all aspects of CAD design
- Interacts professionally with both internal and external customers
Duties and Responsibilities

Create and edit drawings to meet specifications utilizing CAD

Provide needed drawings to requestors as approved by Engineering Manager

Assist Engineering Manager with project tasks as assigned

Perform database entry using internal Project Operating System

Classify and file engineering drawings
-
Ensure that all work is carried accurately and timely

Perform other duties as assigned/needed

Maintain a positive attitude with team
